Question:
how do I know what size I am?

Hello All. I know this may sound silly but I dont know the difference between womens sizes and "normal" sizes. I am wearing a size 16W now so what size would I roughly be in "normal" clothes? I still have my old habit of going straight to the plus size departments/stores but I really would love to try some where like Old Navy,ect. Thanks in advance for the help.
